What's required to be considered for tenancy at Jackson Square?
How long is the lease?
The term of the lease shall be one (1) year. Furnished units may be rented for a duration of less than one (1) year.
Does the lease auto-renew after one year?
The Lease shall NOT automatically renew. The Lease expires on the date set forth on the first page of the Lease. Tenant(s) shall return to Landlord a completed Letter of Intent at least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of their Lease, even when Tenant(s) will be vacating the Premises at the end of the Lease.
Who is responsible for what utilities?
Tenant pays for electric, gas heat, hot water, and cable/internet/phone.
Landlord pays for water, sewer, trash collection, landscaping, and snow removal.
What is the parking situation?
Tenant(s) shall be permitted to park no more than one (1) vehicle in the parking lot at Jackson Square at any time. Tenant(s) shall be provided with one (1) resident parking sticker per unit. The resident parking sticker must be displayed on Tenant(s)’ vehicle inside the left rear window when it is parked in the parking lot at Jackson Square. Resident parking spaces are unassigned and any open resident parking space is available to Tenant(s) vehicle. Tenant(s) shall not park any vehicles belonging to Tenant(s) (whether or not the vehicle displays the resident parking sticker) in any parking spaces labeled as guest parking
Do you allow smoking in the unit?
Tenant(s), any other occupants of the Premises, and any guests are prohibited from smoking and using any tobacco products (including vaping and using electronic cigarettes) in the Premises and anywhere indoors at Jackson Square, including, but not limited to, the indoor common spaces. Tenant(s), any other occupants of the Premises, and any guests are prohibited from smoking and using any tobacco products within fifteen (15) feet of any structure at Jackson Square, including within fifteen (15) feet of the two apartment buildings and the storage units.
Do you allow pets?
At this time, Jackson Square does not allow tenants to keep any household pets or other animals of any kind at the Premises. This includes ALL animals of any kind, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, fish, birds, and reptiles. No visiting animals are permitted at the Premises or the grounds at Jackson Square.
Are furnished units available?
Yes, furnished units are available for an additional fee.
Do you require renter's insurance?
Yes, as part of the lease agreement, all tenants must obtain a renter's insurance policy with general liability coverage of no less than three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) and a minimum deductible of $250.00. More details will be provided in the lease.
Is there a management company involved?
Yes, more information will be provided in the lease.
May I sublet my apartment?
No, Tenant(s) may not assign this Lease, in whole or in part, or sublet the whole or any part of the Premises or permit the Premises or any part of the Premises to be occupied by others.
Is a laundry area included?
Yes, every unit has its own dedicated combination washer and dryer right in the unit.
Is grilling allowed?
Tenant(s) shall not use or store any charcoal grills, gas grills or other similar outdoor cooking equipment at the Premises, the shared common patio, or any other indoor or outdoor space at Jackson Square.
Do either 4 or 6 Bridge Street have elevators?
No, neither building has elevators.
